Established in 1942, Nobel International School Algarve is the oldest private school in southern Portugal. Our Lagos campus offers a bilingual Preschool and an international Primary School for students aged three to ten.

Bilingual Early Years Programme

Our early years programme provides a truly bilingual learning experience for children aged three to four years old. Each classroom is managed by a highly trained teacher and a full-time teaching assistant, both of whom are fluent in both English and Portuguese.

Reflecting Portugal’s long history of exploration, our World Topic of Discovery enriches every aspect of the learning experience. Our programme includes the Journey of Discovery, a unique and rigorous eight day journey of self discovery that takes students out of the classroom and challenges their boundaries.

Beyond the Classroom

Nobel International School is located on the picturesque Algarve coast which gives our students a unique opportunity to engage with their environment.

Our Beyond the Classroom programme allows students to participate in a diverse range of enrichment activities including rollerblading, mountain biking, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and Summer School, allowing them to explore and participate in extended learning well beyond the classroom.
